Our Lancet Global Health Publication:- Global Health in Low-Income and Middle-Income Countries: A Framework for Action

Africa has about 25% of the global burden of disease but has just 3% of the world’s healthcare professional and about 1% of global research output.  This fact births a burning question: How can research and advocacy be improved on the African continent?  The answer to this very important question can be found in this Lancet publication. Excerpts from this are included below:
