Dr Isaac Olufadewa
Executive Director, SRHIN
Dr Isaac Olufadewa is the founder/Executive Director of Slum and Rural Health Initiative (SRHIN), a registered non-governmental organization that utilizes the ART of Advocacy, Research, and Technology to provide healthcare information and services in Africa.
He leads SRHIN with over 1, 300 volunteers in eight African countries to ensure that people in marginalized communities have access to healthcare information and services.
He is a seasoned researcher with over 30 peer-reviewed publications in reputable journals such as the Lancet. Dr Isaac Olufadewa is very passionate about Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Non-Communicable Diseases and Mental health among young people in Nigeria and Africa.
He is also a recipient of several fellowships, awards, and grants such as the prestigious Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Harvard Global Health Institute Grantee, African Union Scholar, Women Deliver Young Leader, One Young World Managing Ambassador (Africa & Middle East), NIHR-RSTMH Grantee, Grand Challenges Canada GCC-NIHR grantee among others. He has also presented at international conferences such as the International AIDS Society Conference (IAS) among others.
Dr Isaac Olufadewa is a Medical doctor and a social entrepreneur with decades of experience in leadership in various global and national organizations that range from healthcare, leadership, public policy and social entrepreneurship fields
