Project Features

Comprehensive Training Program

120 medical students (aged 18 – 24 years) will undergo a total of five training sessions to be conducted on a weekly basis. During this training, they will be taught on a series of NCD topics.

Peer-to-Peer Education

The project  leverages a task-shifting and peer-to-peer training model where trained medical students (NCD champions) are paired to “adopt” a secondary school in their community that has a population of at least 500 adolescents

Stakeholder Engagement

Collaboration with NCD experts, school principals, MInistry of Education and Health. We will be collaborating with the Health ministries for the implementation of the NCD prevention curriculum in schools.
