Job Summary
The Grant Officer will play a key role in securing funding opportunities that support our mission. This role involves grant writing, donor engagement, partnership development, and grant management. We seek a results-driven professional with excellent research, writing, and networking skills.

Key Responsibilities
📝 Grant Writing & Proposal Development
- Research and identify relevant funding opportunities.
- Develop compelling grant proposals aligned with donor priorities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to collect necessary data.
- Ensure timely submission of grant applications.
- Maintain a repository of successful grant proposals.
🤝 Grant Sourcing & Donor Engagement
- Track new and recurring funding opportunities.
- Build relationships with donors, grant agencies, and philanthropic organizations.
- Attend networking events, donor meetings, and funding briefings.
- Stay updated on funding trends and donor priorities.
🌍 Unsolicited Proposals & Partnership Development
- Identify funding agencies for unsolicited proposals.
- Develop concept notes and funding pitches.
- Explore collaborative funding opportunities with partners.
- Work closely with program and finance teams to align funding proposals with organizational needs.
📊 Grant Management & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements.
- Monitor grant deliverables and reporting deadlines.
- Prepare timely and accurate grant reports.
- Maintain a database of grant applications, funding commitments, and deadlines.
- Assist in budget development.
Qualification & Skills
✅ Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree with extensive grant writing experience will be considered).
- 2-3 years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, or donor relations.
- Proven success in securing institutional and private donor grants.
- Strong research, writing, and proposal development skills.
- Knowledge of donor regulations and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with international funding landscapes.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
