Blog Post

Slum and Rural Health Initiative conducted an enlightening campaign on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in several secondary schools in Ibadan, educating over 1500 students. We raised awareness and educated young minds about the prevention and management of NCDs.

The campaign was led by SRHIN University of Ibadan NCDs Advocates and volunteers.   The educational campaign covered essential topics such as healthy lifestyle choices, early detection, and the impact of NCDs on individual well-being and community health.  Through engaging presentations, interactive discussions, and visual aids like cardboards, they provided students with valuable insights into combating diseases like diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and cardiovascular ailments.
