Slum and Rural Health Initiative did a big thing in the Toto Local Government, Nasarawa State! The SimbiHealth women's group taught about 200 women about family planning. Family planning is important because it aids in population planning and control, which leads to positive community development, effective conservation, and distribution of natural resources. It also helps families decide when to have children and how many to have.

The SimbiHealth (a community project led by the Slum and Rural Health Initiative) Women leaders and their group talked about different family planning services such as using pills, injections, sterilization, condoms, and other methods. The women were happy to learn about family planning. They asked questions and shared their thoughts. Some said they didn't know much about family planning before, but now they understand better. Others said they would tell their friends and family about it too.

The SimbiHealth Women leaders and their group were glad to help the women learn about family planning and they hope that by educating them about family planning, they can help improve the health and well-being of families.
