Our Founder, Dr Isaac Olufadewa bags Prestigious Royal African Leadership (Ooni of Ife) award

The Executive officer and founder, Slum and Rural Health Initiative,  Dr Isaac Olufadewa was chosen as one of the exemplary young leaders for the 3rd edition of the Royal African award of the  Royal African Young Leadership Forum (RAYLF).

The Royal African Award was established by His Imperial Majesty (H.I.M), Ọọ̀ni of Ifẹ̀, Ọọ̀ni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi OJAJA II, to celebrate the outstanding achievement and contributions of youths towards the development of Nigeria and Africa.

Over the years, Dr. Isaac has been able to Promote mental health to vulnerable communities and IDP camps in Northern Nigeria, Represent the organization in several international conferences in London (UK), the Hague (Netherlands), Munich (Germany), Publish 35 peer-reviewed papers including publications in the Lancet journals.

Furthermore, he has Offered mentorship for early career researchers, Co-creation of a health mobile application with our technology team (SimbiHealth), and has also Led the diverse Slum and Rural Health Initiative team with Coordinators from over 27 States of Nigeria.

We also appreciate your commitment to innovation, mentorship and leadership through Slum and Rural Health Initiative.
